STEPHEN W. YOUNG

Producer, Screenwriter, Playwright, Director, Actor

Trained by George Salverson of CBC drama fame, Stephen Young  has written and produced five episodes  of his Dickson & Bruce History meets Mystery film series. He also wrote three plays based on the series:  At The Crossroads, Secret at Woodside, and Seagram's Folly - the Final Clue.

Other plays include the comedy Beacon Rug and the musical drama, It's Just Forbidden. Additional writing includes two children's books and the 70th Anniversary production for K-W Musical Productions.  Stephen has over 20 years of experience in Regional theatre including such roles as Maurice in Beauty & The Beast, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, Harold in The Full Monty, Marcellus in The Music Man, and Mr. Boo in The Rise & Fall of Little Voice. 

Stephen is an honours grad alumni of the Broadcasting: Radio & TV program of Conestoga College. He’s an Accredited Business Communicator and has extensive creative and team expertise in corporate marketing, advertising, and branding. He’s an accomplished percussionist and a black belt in Judo.
